Effective Date: September 1, 2026

1. Introduction and Scope

This Privacy Policy describes how LB Ventures LLC, d/b/a Little Bookery ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, discloses, and retains information in connection with the Little Bookery website, application, and related services (the "Service"). This Policy is incorporated into and forms part of the Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined herein have the meanings given in the Terms of Service.

The Service is intended for use by adults. Although the Service is used by adults, the majority of the personal information processed through the Service concerns a minor child about whom a Storybook is created (a "Subject Child"). The Company's practices specific to information concerning children, including photograph handling, likeness generation, retention, and deletion, are set forth in the Children's Data, Likeness & Retention Policy, which controls in the event of any conflict with this Policy.

The Service is offered in the United States only. Physical products are available for shipment within the United States only.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Concerning a Subject Child. In connection with Storybook creation, the account holder provides: the Subject Child's first name; age; optionally, month and year of birth; gender presentation; descriptive appearance attributes (including hair color, length, texture, and style; eye color; skin tone; and the presence of freckles or glasses); personality traits; and stated preferences. The account holder may optionally submit a photograph of the Subject Child, a photograph of a pet, and a dedication photograph for inclusion in a printed product. The Service does not collect information from any child directly.

2.2 Generated and Derived Content. The Service generates and stores illustrated character images, page illustrations, cover illustrations, story text incorporating the Subject Child's name, and the structured generation records (including textual appearance attributes) required to produce, reproduce, and reprint Storybooks.

2.3 Account and Transaction Information. The Company collects the account holder's email address and authentication credentials; subscription status; and, upon order of a physical product, a shipping address. Payment card information is collected and processed by a third-party payment processor and is not received or stored by the Company.

2.4 Information Collected Automatically. The Company collects standard server and security log information, including IP address, browser, and device information, for security, abuse-prevention, and diagnostic purposes. The Service uses session cookies necessary for authentication and a cookieless, aggregate analytics service.

The Service also uses advertising measurement tools provided by third-party advertising platforms (currently Meta Platforms, Inc. and TikTok Inc.). These tools set cookies and collect device and browsing information, including pages viewed and purchases completed, in order to measure the performance of the Company's advertising and to deliver advertising to the account holder on those platforms. In connection with these tools, the Company may transmit the account holder's email address, phone number, and shipping city, state, and postal code to those platforms in hashed (one-way encoded) form for the purpose of matching the account holder to an existing account on the platform. These tools are configured to receive account-holder information only, as described in Section 5.

2.5 Information Not Collected. The Company does not request or collect, as attributes of the Subject Child, the child's full date of birth, address, school, or geolocation; does not collect information about the Subject Child from data brokers or other third-party sources; and does not collect information from children directly. A shipping address provided by the account holder in connection with an order is collected as the account holder's information for fulfillment purposes.

3. How We Use Information

Information described in Section 2 is used to: (a) generate, store, display, and reprint Storybooks; (b) maintain saved character profiles for reuse at the account holder's direction; (c) process payments and administer subscriptions; (d) fulfill and ship physical products; (e) operate, secure, and improve the Service, including abuse prevention and diagnostics; (f) communicate with the account holder regarding the account, transactions, and material changes to the Service or its policies; and (g) measure the performance of the Company's advertising and deliver advertising for the Service to the account holder on third-party platforms, as described in Section 2.4.

The Company does not: sell personal information for monetary consideration; disclose personal information to data brokers; use the name, photograph, or likeness of any Subject Child for advertising, marketing, or promotional purposes absent separate express consent; disclose any information concerning a Subject Child to advertising platforms; permit its artificial-intelligence service providers to use Service content to train or improve their models; or build advertising or behavioral profiles of any Subject Child.

4. Disclosure of Information

The Company discloses information to the following categories of service providers, in each case solely as necessary to provide the Service and subject to obligations limiting use of the information to the provision of services to the Company:

(a) Artificial-intelligence processing providers, which process submitted photographs and descriptive attributes transiently in order to generate character illustrations, page illustrations, and story text, and which are not permitted to use such content to train or improve their models;

(b) Cloud infrastructure and storage providers, which host the Service's database and stored images;

(c) Payment processors, which process payment transactions;

(d) Print fulfillment providers, which receive book files and shipping information solely to manufacture and ship ordered physical products.

In addition, the Company discloses the account-holder information described in Section 2.4 to third-party advertising platforms (currently Meta Platforms, Inc. and TikTok Inc.) for advertising measurement and delivery. Those platforms process such information under their own privacy policies and may use it for their own purposes, including to improve their advertising services. Under certain state privacy laws, this disclosure may be characterized as "sharing" personal information or processing personal information for "targeted advertising." The Company does not disclose any information concerning a Subject Child to advertising platforms.

The Company may also disclose information: where required by law, subpoena, or other legal process; where necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Company, its users, or any child; and in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case the successor will be bound by this Policy or will provide notice prior to any material change in practices.

5. Children's Privacy

The Service is used by adults and is not directed to children. The Company does not knowingly collect personal information from children, does not permit children to create accounts, and does not advertise to, profile, or track children. Information concerning a Subject Child is collected solely from the adult account holder and solely for the purpose of creating the Storybooks and products the account holder requests. The submission of any photograph is conditioned upon the affirmative attestations described in the Terms of Service, including attestation of parental or guardian status or of consent obtained from the Subject Child's parent or legal guardian.

The advertising measurement tools described in Section 2.4 are configured to transmit only account-holder contact and shipping information. They are not configured to transmit the Subject Child's name, age, date or month of birth, gender, appearance attributes, or any other information concerning a Subject Child.

An individual who believes that a child has provided information directly to the Service, or that a photograph of a child has been submitted without appropriate consent, may contact the Company at LittleBookery@gmail.com, and the Company will delete the information in question.

The Company's practices with respect to photographs, generated likenesses, retention schedules, and deletion are set forth in the Children's Data, Likeness & Retention Policy.

6. Data Retention

Retention periods for each category of information concerning a Subject Child are set forth in the Children's Data, Likeness & Retention Policy. In summary: submitted photographs of a child or pet are processed transiently and are not written to persistent storage; Generated Content and character profiles are retained for the life of the associated Storybook or account and are deleted upon deletion thereof; and billing, order, and shipping records are retained for seven (7) years as required for tax and accounting purposes. Deleted data is removed from live systems promptly; residual copies in encrypted backups expire on a limited rolling cycle and are not used to restore deleted data in the ordinary course.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Account holders may: access and correct account information and saved profiles; delete individual Storybooks; delete the account in its entirety, which removes all Storybooks, images, saved character and pet profiles, story text, and generation records, subject to a seven (7) day grace period after which deletion is permanent and irreversible; export Storybooks; and cancel subscriptions at any time through account settings. Financial and order records described in Section 6 survive account deletion to the extent retention is required by law; such records do not include any photograph, likeness, or descriptive profile of a Subject Child.

Account holders may opt out of the disclosure of their information to advertising platforms described in Sections 2.4 and 4 by emailing LittleBookery@gmail.com with the subject line "Opt Out of Advertising Sharing." Account holders may also limit the use of their information by those platforms through the privacy settings offered by Meta and TikTok, and may block advertising cookies through their browser settings; blocking cookies does not affect the account holder's ability to use the Service.

The Company does not discriminate against any individual for exercising rights described in this Section. Requests may be directed to LittleBookery@gmail.com and will be answered within forty-five (45) days.

8. Security

The Company maintains administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information processed, including encryption of data in transit and at rest and access controls limiting access to personal information. Photographs retained for printing are stored in access-controlled storage. No security program eliminates all risk; in the event of a breach affecting personal information, the Company will provide notice as required by applicable law.

9. Geographic Scope

The Service is offered to users in the United States only. Physical products ship within the United States only. The Service is not offered to users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland.

10. Changes to This Policy

The Company may amend this Policy from time to time. Material amendments will be preceded by no fewer than thirty (30) days' notice by email or in-Service notice. Continued use of the Service following the effective date of an amendment constitutes acceptance thereof.
